Need to create PHP Regular expressions to scrape online Indian e-commerce websites like Jabong, Myntra, etc. Need to be able to scrape about 25 sites on their product detail pages to get their product title, price, image link and description. Need to do this in either PHP or PERL. We are using a shared Go Daddy hosting provider so it cannot use any extensions that are not normally present on shared hostings. Main consideration is that the regex that you will create must work across all the product categories (which may have slightly different HTML structures).

You should realise that scraping in this manner involves a lot of complexity and many difficulties and therefore i would suggest you don't go with cheap solutions even if you dont pick me. I have a lot of experience with regular expressions and scraping. In one project i scraped song lyrics for from different websites and automatically inserted them in a database and also did another project which involved scraping information from Google maps and again putting them in a database. The time of delivery will depend on the number and complexity of the websites to be scraped. I think it's important to understand that this project may well take anywhere between 1 and 2 months or even more in case of unexpected problems (for example there are websites that have protection against scraping). It may also take less than a month but for such a great number of websites i dont think that will be likely because the scraped content will need to be filtered multiple times in order to remove unwanted words/characters that slipped in through the scraper in your database.
