PLease review carefully: I am looking to move my wordpress website to a new host. Domain name will stay the same. I am stuck at a certain point in the process. Here is what I have available from the old site - full wp-content folder, full database. I have a fresh install of wordpress on the new host and have created a new database and copied info over. Now I need to swap out the wp-content folders (the fresh install with the old sites wp-content) and update wp-config to point to the correct databse, but it does not work. Looking for someone to troubleshoot and complete this task for me.

Ideally you should have taken backup of whole wordpress from previous host because just taking wp content and installing fresh wordpress is not a good solution. Although i can fix your problem now.
