Hi!
I have an old website that I need to migrate its content to a new wordpress website.
More:
1 - I don't know what platform the site is based on. Its proprietary. I do know we can access the contents by PHP MyAdmin databasess.
2 - The images must be migrated with content. The difficult part (for me) is to take the images with the text to the articles in the new site.
3 - Ideally, the articles should keep their original date as the publishing dates in wordpress.
4 - The articles are divided in sections and subsections. The sections should fall into wordpres categories. Specifically, we have a"noticias" (news) section, with a "musica" (music) subsection. That subsection will become the "musica" category in the new wordpress site.
5 - The website contents are in portuguese. But the admin panel can be viewed in english. I think it will not be a problem to migrate.
6 - Ideally, you will not need a wordpress plugin in order to complete the migration to wordpress. But if you do need a plugin like ultimate csv importer to be installed, please tell me beforehand.
7 - I do not need any webdesign work. Only the migration part.
