i have the freepbx running. When an incoming call is received, it goes into a queue. The queue has many extensions, all are ringing (ringall) and i answer from the one extension that is closer to me.

The problem is that in the call monitor there are multiple rows/recordings. There is one for every extension and an extra for the number of the queue.
I want only one recording, this to the extension i answered from

Just set everywhere (routes, queue) call recording to no and to yes only on extensions.
If you mean many records in cdr - no way, after asterisk 13 they changed behaviour in cdr module.
