If either of you have any thoughts on how we could implement this, your expertise would be greatly appreciated! Here's the background: I was just listening to an episode of the Marketing School Podcast ([login to view URL]) and Neil mentioned that he places a Retargeting pixel in his emails and shows people specific ads who open his emails. I thought it wasn't possible due to the limitations of JavaScript in emails, so I reached out to Neil, and he actually responded and pointed me to this link: It's based on image pixels. [login to view URL] They discuss it a bit in that thread. - Neil Basically, I'm not sure… but I think he puts a transparent GIF image in the HTML signature of his emails. I think maybe the GIF file is stored and served by a web page that has the retargeting pixels attached to it, so somehow the GIF/pixel gets them in the retargeting pool? Any ideas? I want to get this working with Facebook Retargeting Pixel, Google AdWords Retargeting, and AdRoll.
