We currently have a web application written in php that uses a flat file database. Over the years the application has slowed down. We would like to move it to a mySQL database. The data needs to be migrated and the database calls re-written. I wrote the software so I can explain what needs to be done in detail -- I just don't have time to do the work. Thanks!

The PHP file you added here already has all the DB functions called. you just need changes from flat file to Mysql with tables i guess. i guess you have each tables stored in sep flat files each. let me know from you.
