Hello, I have read your project description and I am confident I am the best developer for this task. I have extensive WordPress and WooCommerce development experience and I am very familiar with the Stripe API which I have integrated several times before. I think it's best if I just tell you how I would complete this job: Write a WordPress plugin which adds payment details field to the customer signup form. The form includes a statement (which can be modified by the admin) which basically says that the card will be validated by creating a small charge, but that the charge will not be processed (this is possible with the Stripe API). Once the signup form is submitted, the card details are checked, if they work, they're saved and a Stripe customer is created for that user, if they don't work, the user gets an error message (admin can modify this message). When a customer is the winner of the auction, the plugin will create a charge for the value of the auction (plus any applicable fees) in Stripe for the customer created in Stripe when they signed up. The email sent to the customer will be a congratulatory message (modifiable by admin) and the receipt for their transaction, instead of telling them to come and pay. Thanks for considering my bid, if you're interested in proceeding, or just want to discuss the project, please send me a message.
