We have a Laravel based Wallet script, that was installed for the purpose of storing invoices and receipts. We require the development of an API to perform email parsing.
The objective is to store the transaction details of an invoice or receipt into our database, everytime we receive an invoice or receipt by email.
How It Works
1) A vendor sends a receipt/invoice to our email. for example sent to accounting@[login to view URL]
2) The API scans the email based on either the vendor name or vendor id, and utilizes a template to gather the information from the receipt, to be saved into the database.
3) Once saved to the db, create a user interface in Laravel that will enable our users to manage the receipts / invoices including downloading, email, and creating groups or lists to organize the documents.
