Want to create an application that is for song, dance and drama competitive events The application must use a tablet as the front end that the judges will use to input scores that will be uploaded to the main website Some of the this it should be able to do are as follows Ability to register contestants, judges, Admin staff, general users Ability to create an event name, time, venue, judges, contestants, levels (prelim, semifinal, final), time period (start 2nd june – finish 14th june) Ability to create rules list (used for disqualification) Ability to create judging categories (dance, music, Drama, Visual arts, fashion etc) Ability to create judging criteria for each category Ability to add judges to an event To create a computation engine (this is a mini program within the application that can use different operations to compute winners, example 1 - total judges scores and rank highest to lowest. 2. take away highest and lowest scores and then add and rank total) to calculate winners of the contest Ability to compute winners based upon selected method via the computational engine Ability to automatically move contestants from one stage to the higher/next level based upon a selection process Ability to create judging forms to show on tablet To give judges ability to input scores for each contestant via the form on the tablet To give judges ability to move forward and or skip a contestant, likewise to move backward to find a contestant To give judges ability to submit scores and lock when submitted and automatically move to the next contestant To automatically upload submitted scores to main website when submitted Views Create view for supervisor of judges activity (submitted scores) create view for supervisor to select a disqualification rule to disqualify a contestant based upon disqualification list Create manager view/print of list of contestants registered for each level create manager view/print of contestants placement at the end of each level create manager view/print of contestants advancing to the next levels of competition Other reports
