Hi! I am owner in my spare parts based business. I have about 5000 different items in my stock. I have made lists in excel for price of these items. I have 6-7 such lists depending upon different suppliers. The problem that is arising is that whenever I want to look up a price I have to search through different lists and get the price of item. Also some items are common in different lists. So I have to look up prices in so many lists which causes me to waste a lot of time. I am looking for a solution regarding this. I need a software where I can import excel file to add to the database. Then I want a search bar in the UI in which I can input Item Name or Part Number and it shows the entries which have that particular keyword. The thing I want special is that the keywords which I enter can be in mix format. For ex: I could write item number and item name both, or write item number and item type and the result should show up. Also I will be looking to add that part with particular quantity in the cart and make invoice. I dont need any taxation based features in the software or any inventory system. Just basic invoice system with item name, quantity, price and total.

We already have a simple inventory management system to enter items and prices with keywords. This allows searching by up to 5 keywords and provides a list of matches to select from to bring onto an invoice/sale. For Stock maintenance/imports we currently provide a tool to import and export the data which currently uses CSV sheets via Excel but this can be simply updated to talk directly to the Excel documents. Sales document can be printed or exported to PDF. We have sample screenshots and layouts if you are interested. The current installation is used by an 8 store customer with 300,000 items in the database.
