Greetings. I have experience in setting up mail servers for bulk marketing purpose. I used open source software which is completely free under Linux server which is also free. The name of the software is Mailman. It supports some MTAs (Mail Transfer Agent), but usually used Postfix and QMail in less frequent way. The software is highly customizable. I could set the same system up for you or just assist you implementing it. It should be straightforward.
