For the connection to your Network, there are 2 options: either only whitelist 1 IP or set up a site2site-vpn between your firewall (if your firewall supports this) and AWS-VPC. Best, Christian

hi, This is my proposal for your requirements: #1: The MYSQL server should be a EC2 Ubuntu instance. And you can use security group to limit connection like: open port 3306 for #2 server or your local IP (your static office IP) #2: You can assign an elastic IP for the #2 server, you use security group to open port 80, 443 for this server to publish these port to the Internet. For private connection like ssh, mysql... you can limit these ports by using security group as well. If you would like to discuss more, feel free to chat with me.
