I need websites crawled and the results imported into a table called "crawls". There will be 3 types of crawls.
Full Crawl: I want to crawl the whole website for the first crawl. It will extract Title, Full Body, URL, Published Date, Image URL. Crawl logic should be to crawl everything.
Partial Crawl: Partial crawl will be done on homepage and only the first page of its category pages every 2 hours. In fact, this will more of an extractor instead of a crawl. Crawl logic is to check the new article's dates and then only import if they are less than 24 hours.
Monthly Crawl: There will be another script that will crawl through the website to discover the new categories that have been added to it. Full Crawl will be done to any new category added.
Crawl Script monitoring: There will be a section in the admin called “Website Crawls”. It will have the following columns: Website, Last Crawled Time, New Entries, Total Crawled Entries, Result (Success or Failed). Success is if the last script and the previous script time difference is less than 60 mins. Failed is if the last script and the previous script time different is more than 60 mins. Then we can be sure that something happened to one of the crawls that it didn’t crawl every 60 mins. See attached file for more details of the sites that needs crawling.
