Hello. A 500 error is probably a fatal error. You can enable php's display_errors to see it. Then we can fix it.

Hi, If you can give me access to the server logs, I can figure out why you're getting an HTTP code 500. I have over a decade of experience with the full LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP). I've worked with Content Management Systems such as Drupal and Wordpress. I've seen all kinds of errors, and ones similar to these, caused by PHP scripts. I have always been able to resolve them. It could be a permission error, it could be bad code in the script, or some other internal server error. Looking at the logs would help narrow it down and make it easy for me to resolve your issue.
