Create a Mobile Website

We require mobile code review specialists who can delve deep into an existing codebase of low to medium complexity and an extensive UI layer. While expertise is preferred for all listed areas, candidates may indicate specific areas of focus and interest during interview.

Phase 1 - Understanding the Application

The job will start with an initial review of the functional requirements (including visual designs and clickable prototypes) with some interaction with Project Sponsor to understand the requirements in terms of functionality, database design, and

interactivity.

Phase 2 - Sniff Testing

Review In-development codebase at a high level, with emphasis on reporting along the following axis:

- Testability (Logical parts, Automation)

- Code Structure, Formatting (including Naming Conventions, Build Errors on Committed Code)

- Any performance / deployment issues foreseen

- Issues with Backward compatibility

- Use of static analysers to find flaws and potential logical (or other) bugs in the source code

- Writing / Modifying Unit Tests / Coverage Metrics

Phase 3 - Detailed Testing

- Documentation of Patterns used

- Syntax relevancy (use of latest iOS and Android conventions and syntax)

- Naming Conventions

- Exception Handling

- Memory Management

- Model Layer Analysis

- Threading Issues and Performance gains

- Localisation (subsequent versions).

Phase 4 - Deployment

- Test for Memory Leaks

- HCI Guidelines Compliance

The position will initiate with a 4hr/day deployment until Aug 31, 2016, followed by full-time deployment on the project from Sep 1 to Dec 31, 2016 (possibly beyond). Compensation based on experience. Good communication skills are an absolute requirement.
