I have the source code for a windows software. I need you to replicate it on Linux. First you will install it on windows and demonstrate the functionality of the software to me. This is so you can understand the software. Then you will convert the code to C. I'd like you to annotate your code. At the end I want source code and program in C that can run on Linux.

hello ,may you send me the code to have a look, what language is the code indeed written it, does it has a complex gui and such things probably having a look at the code will tell me these things, I hope its some simple server and a few WINAPI calls are all that prevents it from building on linux... I have a virtual machine with Ubuntu installed for development under linux. As another thing, have you tried running the software under WINE and why is it unacceptable if it is.

Depending on the nature of your program, I might be interested in converting it to Java. That way, you can run it anywhere (Linux, Windows or iOS) as long as the machine has JVM installed.
