Convert a PHP, JS, MYSQL simple small script to Node.js

I wrote a script using Javascript, jsonp, php, mysql, that I can give to webmasters and place it in their website. This script tracks visitors using local storage and their urls that they browse and send it over to my server through jsonp and I save it using PHP and mysql into my server. Something like Google Analytics. But I believe that if i place it in a huge page, with thousands of visitors, it will have problems, like slow down the page. I read, that using technologies like node.js and websockets, this will save the problem. Also, I will need help with some other small functions.
