Change Magento Custom Options Percentage Calculation

Currently, Magento custom options with percentages change the price based on the base price and not the total from the custom options. I need someone to change it so that the percentage is added or deducted from the cumulative total, not the original base price. Eg. Currently.. Base price is $100 and [custom option 1] adds $50 and [custom option 2] deducts 20%. In its current state Magento will always deduct $20 (20%) regardless of option 1 adding the extra $50.
