Project Description

BOOK ORDERING SYSTEM

At the end of this project, you should be able to:

Explain object oriented programming concepts and apply them to the modeling of real world systems.

Explain the object oriented paradigm and utilisation of the offered facilities.

Demonstrate the ability to develop and derive new class structures and organise them such that they will model real world systems within computers.

You are required to develop BOOK ORDERING SYSTEM using C++ that will be able to calculate and display the number of books requested over a time period for a particular library as well as the total amount to be paid for the books requested. Documentation is needed to reflect the design of the application and the object-oriented concepts incorporated in the solution. These are to be supported by their related implementation codes.

The Program should include the following:

Basic programming concepts such as displaying and reading of variables and text; assignment of values, control structures – selection and iteration; arrays.

Object-oriented concepts such as classes, member functions, objects, constructors, inheritance, polymorphism, etc.

The codes should have introduction for each part. For example :

/* WELCOME TO THE PROJECT 'BOOK ORDERING SYSTEM' */

// INCLUDING ALL THE HEADER FILES //

// CLASS NAMES //

// FUNCTION TO CALCULATE //
