Block software within a certain time

Hi, this l looks like an interesting project. I want to work on it. To block some programs there are 2 ways: 1, During the duration you setup, copy the exe file into another folder, after the duration, copy the exe back to the folder where it located at. 2, During the duration, run a monitor, when the process name is created, the monitor kill it immediately. After the duration, the monitor will not work on this software. Which one of the 2 options do you think is better? I create program with C# language. Looking to know more details of this project.
