Back-end developer wanted with a passion for the travel industry

For our start-up in Amsterdam, called [login to view URL], we are looking for a technical partner. We offer an interesting position as co-owner (with equal shares), where you can help shape by your own contribution to the future of our platform. [login to view URL] provides a new way of hotel / holiday bookings for both consumers and providers of accommodations such as hotels. The business plan has taken nearly two years and the concept has been thought through in detail. Currently we are already busy working on the platform but we need your input! You're going to deal with the development of the [login to view URL] platform (minimum viable product to final product), the technical strategy of the company and building a team of specialists at the forefront of the travel industry. You have an entrepreneurial ability and an ICT background in the field of back-end development and complex backend solutions. Ideally you have experience already gained relevance in different companies. An important condition is that you want to go 100% for it, whatever it takes! Job requirements: * Fluent in English; Dutch or any other language is an advantage * Excellent knowledge of backend development. PHP; (YII2); MySQL; AJAX * Knowledge in the field of front-end development, but not a must. HTML5, CSS3, jQuery * You can seamlessly translate the already made visual designs, functional descriptions into back-end (& front-end) code. * Your backend code is object oriented, neatly structured, organized and efficient. * Pré: multilingual websites / web applications you are not unknown. Personal skills: Internet and new technologies are really your thing. You are constantly informed of the latest trends, innovations and developments in your field. You feel that you are an entrepreneur at heart. You're willing to sacrifice your evenings and weekends to achieve common goals. You work accurate, punctual and can properly handle the possible stresses and dilemmas what entrepreneurship entails. You are a team player, commercially oriented, social and flexible.
