Back-End Developer to Improve Disaster Relief: PHP

Hi, we are looking for a back-end developer with proficiency in the following areas to assist with a major project that will improve global disaster relief and humanitarian aid. This project is mostly volunteer run. Our budget is extremely limited. Our primary interest is finding volunteers or developers willing to give a big break for a good cause. This initiative will benefit some of the most disaster vulnerable regions of the world and, if successful, there could be future opportunity for more work. Here are the qualifications needed: * Object oriented php (code igniter preferred!) Will be helpful if you know symfony or python/django in the future) * Understanding of MVC and CRUD * Php templating (twig is even better) * MongoDB and creating json for mongo to ingest and ability to query mongodb and return json to the templates or front end * MySQL RDBMS - complex querying (sql), creating tables, modifying etc and ability to do this using PHP code as we use codeigniter code migration library * Understanding of JSON and working with JSON using php * Security would be a plus * Ability to work with 3rd party APIs, twitter, google news, google maps -- how to set up apps and get keys and tokens and use that data with php to generate the data for the front-end * Unit testing * Must have a github account and be able to understand how to fork a repo and make pull requests. Will need the ability to do light work with the command line (at least be no afraid to use it with provided instructions).
