Financial Accounting System - MS Access

Requirement: Programmers must know how accrual accounting works for their bid to be accepted. In your bid submission, describe your experience/education with accounting. An example project similar to what I am looking is at the following link: <[login to view URL]> The required components are as follows: - Accounts Table Entered by accountant administrator. Includes account type left or right, as in the left or right side of the basic accounting equation Assets = Liabilities + Stockholder Equity. The database must force entries to balance before being saved. - Transaction Table Entered by clerks, and will describe the transaction for the accountants. - Special Transaction table. Entered by accountants, and is just an extention of the transaction table. These transactions will be journalized on the official journal only. - Internal Journal Table Accountants will review the transaction entered by the clerk and enter in the journal entry table. Journal entries must balance before being entered. - Official Journal Table Entries will be recorded one way for internal reports and another way for official reports. Forms: New account entry Transaction entry Special transaction entry Journal Entry: Each journal entry consists of an internal entry and an official entry. For the journal entry, there should be a drop-down entry box on the left for debit entries and on the right for credit entries. Reports: Income Statement Balance Sheet Cash Flow Statement Retained Earnings Statement General Ledger General: All entries should have a field for the person making the entry. ## Deliverables 1) Database access file. 2) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
