C# class library for excel application to communicate with a database(repost)

We need a class library for an excel application to interface with a SQL database. The class library will make references to the DFR (stands for Design for retrieval) We are working with a company called convergence. They have implemented a DFR-interface on our server that is used to write information to and read information from the database. So the DFR interface is an API that needs to be called thru this class library. Any reference to the database will be through the DFR The files for reference are included in this request. you can get more info about the dfr system at <[login to view URL]> In excel, we have tables of data that we need to populate with information from the database depending on certain criteria. That is a vba script that needs to be written. The vba script is NOT a requirement for this project (although it could be the next project if you are interested) The vba script will be using functions you create in this class library to transfer information between the database and excel. I have a test harness (with hard-coded API, not coming from the DFR, but from some datafiles) this would be sufficient to do some elementary testing of the solution you develop. Hopefully this makes some sense. You will only be expected to deliver a functional class library. I have a contact who is very knowledgeable about this, so he would be very easy to work with. (I am not a programming expert, just trying to find the right person to get in touch with Bob.) We are on a tight schedule here (as the last coder did not communicate well with me and ended up not even starting this work) so I am looking forward to working with a competent coder who can help us with this solution. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
