This is probably an easy problem to solve. It is described fully below, but briefly it is too enable an new item on my Windows XP explorer shortcut (right click) menu that will allow my copy of Omnipage Pro 14 to convert images to searchable PDFs (image on text option) and save them with the same filename but with a PDF extension. DETAILS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I have Omnipage 14 Pro installed on my computer. This software is capable of doing an OCR of image files and converting them to PDF files. There are various options for the resulting PDF, but the one I prefer is a searchable PDF with the text on one layer and the image on another. This keeps 99% of the original appearance of the image file but converts a maximum of the text to searchable form. After installation I noticed that when you right click on an image in Windows Xp explorer, an entry has been added to the shortcut, right-click menu "Omnipage Pro 14">> then the fly out menu has "Convert to PDF" as an option. When you click this, Omnipage does the conversion and saves the resulting PDF with the same filename as the original image in the same folder, but with .pdf as the extension. IT DOES THIS IN THE BACKGROUND. This is very convenient for me. But it does not save in the PDF format I prefer: "PDF WITH IMAGE ON TEXT". I need someone to tell me how to make Omnipage save in this format when using the RIGHT CLICK IN THE BACKGROUND METHOD described above. Or write some sort of add-in that will cause this possibility to be added to the right click menu in Explorer. See the attached picture. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
