I need to develop an application for my thesis project in a graphic design university graduate school program. My goal is to develop a two-part application that reads a specific type of 2D code (Shotcode for example) and fuses it's data with a viewer's handheld device scanner data to produce abstract digital artwork unique to each Shotcode scan/scanner combination. The viewer's scan data is unique as per each viewer's device and each unique? 2D code? scanned. The combined data from scan and scanner should produce an original and unique design per each unique data source (whether it be from the viewer's photo album or a text source such as a favorite number; height, weight and age data, address, etc.) The viewer would be able to choose which data source to supply as per each desire to create a unique design from the? 2D code? being scanned. The? 2D code? app could be generated from various input: photos; url addresses; random [login to view URL] final product would be a two part app, one for the server, one for the client or hand held device/[login to view URL] deliverable products would install on a server and install on compatible hand held products, specifically cell phones. The results of the interaction of Shotcode capture and interpretation would be viewable online.? I have no mock-ups of the type of artwork I'd like this endeavor to generate in order to show you at this time. Each artwork generated should be unique as per scan/scanner interaction.
