**Ecommerce site with Joomla and Virtuemart** Customer frontend and shop admin backend have some specific requirements which may need specially written modules. Questions are welcomed and encouraged. **DETAILS BELOW** ## Deliverables **Ecommerce site requirements: Joomla and Virtuemart** **Server compatibility** Developer needs to ensure that whole site including modules and plug-ins will function 100% on my current GoDaddy server Server details: OS/Hosting Type: Windows/Shared Hosting Hosting Configuration: .Net Runtime Version: ASP.Net 2.0/3.0/3.5 PHP Version: PHP 5.x IIS Version: IIS 7.0 MySQL: 1 of 25 MSSQL: 1 of 2 **Theme** Joomla +virtuemart theme will probably be bought from rockettheme: <[login to view URL]> This theme is ready to go for both Joomla and virtuemart. Developer needs to edit theme (logo, banner etc.) I am not familiar with either Joomla and Viruemart, but the two need to be a complete resource AND retail site. **Front end** Same general structure as current HTML site ([login to view URL]). That means EASY accessibility of all info, with custom placement payment buttons on relevant pages. Same logo and banner as current site Further info pages (such as abstracts, recipes etc.) MUST allow placement of product add-to-cart button. One-page checkout (there is already a module for this function: [login to view URL] ) Current Wordpress blog integrated into site, but NOT merged into Yoomla blog Payment buttons must include short description Product pages must include detailed product description with custom image placement Product pages must have CUSTOM product fields (product weight, shipping weight, and specific product details labels which will be supplied to the developer). Support forum Automatic email notification for products that are out of stock (customers signs up for notification, system sends out emails when product stock is updated. PayPal payment module (already implemented in Virtuemart) Bank transfer payment module SEO URLS (permalinks) One-page add-to-cart function: all products are listed on one page and can ALL be added to cart (see: [login to view URL]). This page must ALSO have a NO THRILLS version optimized for mobile phones Wordpress blog RSS feeds must be displayed as a table of contents (titles) and custom placed on various pages on the site via a pulldown menu. Can use SimplePie ([login to view URL] ), but all links MUST open in new tab or window (so simplepie needs to be configured) Integration of social media features (facebook, twitter etc). Social media like or add buttons Again, the current HTML site is simple, but the layout is exactly what I want. This site is a retail store, BUT it relies heavily on providing all sorts of info. This info must be readily available and include payment buttons for specific products. **Customer account functions** Customer log-in account should show previous orders Allow previous orders to be added to the cart Wishlist and add wishlist to cart All account details to be editable User account details (such as address etc) needs to be auto-filled into checkout. Out of stock products on a wish list should be clearly displayed If an out of stock product is added to the cart from the wishlist or previous orders then a warning should show and this product automatically removed **Shop admin backend** Shipping module needs to be created which calculates shipping based on WEIGHT, using the shipping rates and weight increments supplied by Taiwan Post. Automatic email notification to seller (admin) and customer when orders received and cleared by PayPal Batch processing of orders, from received to processing. For this I will consider buying *ccvaom (* [login to view URL] ) Individual processing of orders from processing to dispatched, with a custom field for postal registration or tracking numbers (*ccvaom* should also cover this ) Intelligent batch printing of CUSTOM invoices/shipping labels: if shipping method is A then print report A. If shipping method is B, then print B1 and B2 . (*ccvaom* comes with the source code, and is allowed to be modified. So the developer will need to use this and make it do what I require) MS Word and HTML friendly text editor for creating custom invoices and shipping labels, and other print and email stationery (*ccvaom* should also cover this, but may need to be modified) Allow CUSTOM emails to be send to all or individual customers Automatic adjustment of prices in based on manual input of currency exchange rates
