Help formatting calendar data to work with yahoo and google calendar

and if you click on add to my calendar you get some options. I know how to make an ical file but i dont know how to make correct links for google and yahoo calendars. I would like your help making some javascript that can take json data on a page and then pass it correctly to these two options.

I will need commented code so its clear exactly how to set everything for a typical event/calendar item. please no dependencies on jquery. lets get this efficient optimized javascript
