Track meet manager

Hi am am looking to create an app and piece of software to run on my mac and iPads respectively. I am looking to take data [login to view URL] files from applications and create brackets and heats for events. The app needs to be fully customizable in terms of data entry where not only are [login to view URL] files supported but I would like to just add people on the spot too. Also there needs to be a way to calculate point totals from the athletes that go towards a team score. I would also like the brackets session to have both single and double elimination. In theory I would like to see this app communicate across multiple iPads through bluetooth, wifi, or 3g so multiple people can get the real time information. Also I would like apples proprietary share type button to email coaches rosters of who is in what event. We have been working with and excel file which I like but it is a very time consuming process. I will gladly add the file as that is what we are dying to do but in a less time consuming manner. this is just the rough sketch to see who is interested. please do not hesitate to contact me here.
