Restore Joomla site from backup, upgrade and clean it from malicious scripts - repost

My Joomla site was hacked and contain malicious scripts and was blocked by my hosting service I do have weekly akeebabackup snapshot of my site but I cannot use the joomla admin to restore as the site is offline by the hosting company and will bring back online only once all the malicious scripts will be removed Also I have weekly snapshot of the site I am not sure when exactly malicious scripts was inserted so most likely the backup contain malicious scripts Need to: 1 - locally restore site from latest akeebabackup snapshot, (will be provided) 2 - upgrade to the latest Joomla version 3 - upgrade all plugins to latest version 4 - remove any malicious scripts 5 - test the site and make sure it working properly on local PC 6 - deploy the new version by FTP (FTP access will be provided) 7 - Project will be completed once hosting company review and approve the site and bring it online I think the site was using Joomla version 1.6 but not sure
