Basically, this is what the site does:
FRONT PAGE
Has a search box to start a new query, a couple of Google text ads, a list of the last 50 searched terms, a list of the 50 top searched terms, and then a growing list of pages of previous searches (50 per page).
SEARCH PAGE
Every time someone submits a search from the main page, a new page is generated (new HTML page, do NOT use mod_rewrite!) with 15 results from MSN Search, along with a few Google text ads posted somewhere on the page. Should have META keywords set with the appropriate keywords like "(kword), search for (kword)" and a line like "Search results for (kword) at (sitetitle) about (kword)" for the META description.
EXTRA RESULT PAGES
Display, in order, the latest searches. The latest 50 searches go on page 1, the next 50 go on page 2, the next 50 on page 3, etc. These pages CAN be done with mod_rewrite, but must have a .html extension.
ADMIN PAGE
There should be a VERY simple password-protected admin area which lets the administrator change the AdSense ID code, admin username/password, change the list of banned keywords/phrases, view usage statistics, and should have a button to remove all but the latest 5 pages of results for the latest searches (so as to keep the script running quickly). Should also allow the admin to change the TITLE of the site and the FOOTER LINE.
There should be an RSS feed generated which shows the latest searches, as well as a Google Sitemap XML feed.
Any extra features which you, as the programmer, see necessary or appropriate may be added in order to make the script better. I'll give the winning programmer more than their bid IF there are more features and the script is completed in a reasonable amount of time.
This should be very simple for someone who has dealt with search engine stuff before...
