We need a penny auction script which most likely and has the entire feature from www.pennyauction.com.my.
The script must have comprehensive admin features to control every aspect of the auctions, users, contents, settings and newsletter management. The script must be scalable and errors free. The script must be based on open source type of coding so it is easily modifiable by any developer.
The script must include all the features below:
- Penny auction system base feature
- Full admin panel (the main admin page must display the users online, most active users in last 24 hours, auction closed in last 24 hours and activity snapshot which include number of users registered, deposits amount, bids, auction ended within certain date set by admin).
- Bid pack size and cost setting via admin panel
- Autobidder function which users can set the price range and maximum bids in the auction. The autobidder must can be stopped or cancelled by users anytime.
- Admin can set the autobidder time that is the number of seconds from the auction closing that the autobidder should start bidding.
- 24 hour auction or peak time auction. Admin can set auction only available to be bid at certain time.
- Auction with bids back. Admin can create auction with free bids. These free bids can be in number of bids or percentage of bids back. For example, “Iphone + 200 free bids” and “Laptop with 25% bids back”. The bids will automatically credit to user's account who had won the auction with immediate action.
- Zero auction. Regardless of the number of bids made the winner of the auction will not have to pay for the item end price at which the auction ended except its delivery cost.
- Fixed price auction. Admin can set the fixed price for the item. Regardless of the number of bids made the one who makes the last bid will win the item on the initial set price.
- Fast auction. Just as a regular auction except that the countdown time is significantly shorter.
- Lock auction. This auction will be locked at a certain point for new users to jump in. For example when price reaches $2.50 or say timer reaches 30 seconds. Auction will then be locked and only those users will be able to bid who already have placed at least 1 bid.
- Reverse auction. In this module auction starts with the high price (RRP) and with each bid placed rather than increasing the price, The price is decreased by a pre-defined value(1cent). The Price can even go in negative values and in that case the winner gets the article as well as the negative balance in credit.
- Cash or bids alternative for item auction. While adding the product, admin have an option to add Cash Alternate value, Bid Credits Alternate or both of them. They will appear next to images for users both on home page and auction detail page. If admin do not add any of them option or both of them, they will simply just not appear in user view. When a user will win such an item, he will have an option while checkout to select either his winning or any of the alternates. Admin can be notified in Auction Sold email and in admin panel about the user decision.
- Ticker function. Admin can define that if auction price reaches a certain (price/time) value, the time should drop to any number of seconds. For example, an auction started at 1p and Ticker Amount was £10 with 30 seconds tick time, then when auction price reaches £10, whatever the time is left on the auction, timer will suddenly drop to 30 seconds and with each bid, timer will reset to 30 seconds.
- Special reward function where the admin can set the auction free of item end price cost and delivery cost as well when the auction price reach certain amount.
- Free registration bids. Admin can set the number of free bids a user gets for registering on the website.
- Bid package auction function. Admin can control number of bids will credited to winner account when creating on such auction.
- Price increment function. Admin can set the price increment for each bid placed.
- Winning limit by users. Admin can set the limit of numbers of auction by users for a configurable period of time.
- Search Engine (SEO) friendly function.
- Switch or design templates. The script must uses a Smarty-style system which means it is easy to create and change templates to edit the look of auction website.
- Autos relist auction function. Item can be automatically re-listed with the same properties, enabling admin to run website more efficiently to save both time and money.
- SMS bidding enabled.
- Paypal money payment gateway and possibility to add others as well.
- Statistics and analytics integration. Auction data can be exported to Microsoft excel, access or any text editor.
- Referral function. Address book importer. Attract more bidders by offering users free bids when they invite their friends to sign up. The address book importer must be compatible with yahoo, hotmail and gmail.
- Smooth timer. The script must have a stable counting time and full synchronization with server.
- Integrated content management system. Admin can modify the page site, upload photo and change text easily.
- Profitability report.
- The calculation for winner saving on the item must same with the www.pennyauction.com.my.
- Admin able to add additional pages such as About Us, Team, Newsletter, etc. (filled out by admin)
- Admin able to change the logo and background of the web page.
I will only consider freelancers who will be able to provide a demo for front and back end for my viewing.
I will only send the template of the website after confirming on which freelancers to be taken.
