I have an existing Flash video player with the source FLA file (Flash 8).
This video player already supports FlashVars and XML files.
I would like new functionality added to the player so a new FlashVar calls an XML file.
The XML file would contain HTML code to display both text and image advertisements at the bottom of the video.
These advertisements should be clickable (they open a new window containing the URL) and I should be able to specify, by seconds, when the ads should appear.

The existing FLA file (Flash 8) for a Flash video player will be modified to allow the display of advertisements (text or image) while a video plays.
This will be done through FlashVars and XML.
In the embed code for the video/video player, I will be able to specify the URL to the XML file that controls the advertisements.
This XML file will allow me to specify how many seconds into a video I want the advertisements to display.
This XML file will also allow me to use HTML code to list the text or image file for an advertisement, as well as a URL for the advertisement.
When a viewer clicks on the advertisement, a new browser window should open taking them to the URL specified for the advertisement.
The image or text advertisement should also have a small "close window" option in the top right corner of the ad, so viewers can close the ad if they want to.
