Facebook chat application for php website

We are working on a php website for a client. One part of the requirement is to integrate facebook chat into the site. So user will login using their facebook credentials and can chat with his facebook friends while on the clients site.

What your code will have to do:

- authenticate the user with facebook chat server

- build a simple php page where the user can see his facebook chat friend list

- send and receive messages with any online friend.

We will apply the stylesheet to this and integrate with the rest of the site. You only need to build the chat functionality in php.

We need this module immediately, so if you have a working demo, we would be happy to buy that from you right away.

We need you to build a web based chat system from scratch. Frontend will integrate with the php site. Backend should use something like jabber/xmpp which provides good scalability for a large many to many chat system and can be built in any language. Users will have unique id's when they register with the system which will be their chat id's.
