Inventory Management Program - Access DB

We are starting wholesale/retail distribution company and need an access database to keep track of the inventory, cash and liabilities. We are purchasing items from a handful of vendors. Mostly in lots of 50-2500. Each item will come in and be entered into the database. We will pay the vendor for the lots and in addition, we will need to pay them a percentage of the profit margin on the back end (kickback). We do **not** need invoicing, bank reconciliation, etc. We do need the following:

**Data Input Screens**

Vendors, Buyers, Products, Kickback Ledger

**Incoming Products

**Screen for where purchased, date, sku, description, quantity, photo?, paid per piece, whether paid or unpaid, item bin location, weight based on quant, average selling price, and whether its part of the kickback.

Sometimes the price of an item fluctuates. We need the ability to track the same item with different purchase points, Maybe using a variation on the sku.

**Outgoing Products

**Screen for sold to, quantity, price, date, profit margin based on that lot purchased, ability to adjust stock level, average selling price, and adjustable percentage of back end kickback

current inventory

purchased by supplier

purchasing by item

sales by customer

sales by item

rough p&l

inventory with items such as purchase date, quant sold

date specific items sold with cost basis, profit margin and kickback amount

The kickback amount will need to be in a ledger sort of system so it keeps a running total and allows us to make entrys when the vendor is paid each month for the kickback amounts.

These are the basics of what we need. We will be adding more items to be added at additional cost to us.

**VERY IMPORTANT:**

We are looking for an eager programmer that is **FROM THE U.S. or CANADA ONLY**. Clear English speaking and writing only please.

**BID REQUIREMENTS UPDATE:

**Thanks to the messages from coders, I will carify a couple items.

- We would like it written in Access 2000 with VBA. We currently run Stone Edge Order Manager for other tasks and like the functionality of that.

- The program will be accessed by a total of maybe 3 people at the same time on separate pcs all running win xp. No passwords or usernames are necessary.

- The program will only be used by us and not our vendors or customers. The data entry screens are for us to input info.

- The kickback amount must be adjustable at the incoming product screen for each lot purchase and each vendor.

- Once sales are made, the kickback amount of sold items can't be changed, but can be modified moving forward on future sales.

- We may buy the same item from different vendors and buy the same item from the same vendor for different pricing at different times.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
