Pit-art on CD

When you burn a CD, sometimes there is more space for data. If you are not using that, the outher 'ring' will be leave empty. I will have the ability to burn on this empty space: Small graphics or words. When you look at such a CD you will see the data-ring and on the outside the pit-art. I do not know if this is possible, but some of you out there, can make it happen, I believe. It must working on a windows-pc with an IDE CD-burner.
