You will design a web service (and client side software) that allows me to do the following business applications: Allow people with goods to use a program on their PC to upload their inventory and description of that inventory to a central website/webservice. example... TITLE: Used machinery classified service. Website: MUST USE CSS and DIV's so I can reposition anything I want to... Should list the used machinery the customer has, should communicate with the clientside software, and should be database driven by MySQL OR Microsoft SQL. The databases will be chosen by me at time of install. I should be able to install one site with MySQL and one with MSSQL by simply setting an option in a config somewhere. ALSO FOR WEBSITE: In the future, I want a feature that allows a user to custom design his database fields and have his selections show up on the webpage for people to use. IE, he says he wants 5 fields on this form/page, and he enters the configuration/titles of the fields and all that, then the program uses that as a new page in on the website. Like a custom submission form or something. You be the creative one here. Clientside software: Should bring the listings from the web, display them, allow searching of the all field's detail in each listing. Should allow user to enter new records (new machinery available) and upload to the web. I want the client side to have something like XML driven menus - I want to be able to add custom menu entries on demand. I want to be able to change the headings/text of most fields by editing an XML file as well. Example: The title of the window says "Machinery inventory", I should be able to exit an XML file and have it say "Inventory of Machinery" the next time the clientside program loads. This request I assume has been requested dozens of times before, and if you want to send me something that you've already done and let me make my own modifications, that's ok by me. Please let me know if you need any further detail. This software should be easily modified to support Machinery, Used phones, Used speakers, used moniters, etc. Titles should be easily changed so that multi-industry application of this utility may be acheived. You may use your own test/development servers for this. The deliverables I get, I can set up my own servers to accept your program. All testing/deployment before deliverables are sent to me should work on your platforms first.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
