My company has a quick and simple project for someone that can deliver in a timely manner.
We have a flash mx based website that needs an update. First we have a number of videos on our web site that we'd like to release (or make available) to subscribed members each month. Basically, if we have 100 videos, we want the user to be able to visually see and have access to 10 new videos each month. So we'd need some actionscript written that can query our database and compare when the user signed up as a member, and then compare that to the current date. If it's a 3 month spam, then they have access to X (x = 30 as an example)number of videos. If it's 4 months, then they have access to X number (x= 40).
All we really need is the proper action script written, for example, we know that the links for the videos that aren't accesable to the current user would be hidden. We don't need someone to have to put all these links and images up, just write code that can hide/unhide these when it's appropriate. The database is already created (there are already members with their sign-up dates), and we'd prefer that someone use ASP as the intermedian between flash and the database, as that's what we're most comfortable using.
**Again, we just need to backend actionscript and ASP code developed, we don't need anyone to load the videos or do anything of that sort.** If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
