Dear Basher, I need some one who can create a BASH script using this logic: 1.I have directories of file, I would do a capture of this using: ls > /tmp/[login to view URL] ls |wc –l > /tmp/[login to view URL] 2. Through the list, you would need to find and search some “filename”, using: query1=($(cat /tmp/[login to view URL])) line==($(cat /tmp/[login to view URL])) 3. In query1, there are lots of ‘files name’ to be search for a “STRINGS” using loop: for ((i = 0; i < line; ++i)); do {search in the file “[login to view URL]” –I will send you some examples of the [login to view URL] files) for some “strings”, and might involving an IF THEN command. done 4.I need some "additional script" to connect to mysql database to check and find some strings 5. From the above (number 3), we should produce / extract some results, let say query2 consist of some variables. [login to view URL] the result above (number 4), I would like to execute some commands. Please only BASH SCRIPT, if possible. Timeframe is flexible as this is a low budget project, and I’d only pick up the lowest one (no matter what is the freelancer’s ratings). Thanks. WHARRY
