I am searching for a designer to design 6 page spreads for a children book within the age range 1-3 with approximately 200 words. The designer will be required to read the paragraph and illustrate as read. The designer is expected to create high quality and detailed artwork for the storybook. The designer will be required to sketch, create and color the individual images for each page spread. A minimum of 3 revisions per page spread is required which is to include the initial draft to the final outcome. The designer and client are expected to have regular communication upon the commencement of the job to modify and edit drawings produced to achieve the expected product outcome. This post is a work-for-hire or work under a contract of/for services position therefore all rights to the design produced will belong to us. Before any work is undertaken, the designer will be required to agree to the terms and conditions of the work-for-hire agreement/contractual statement etc and agree to send ALL completed files upon completion. The designs need to be created using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. You have to be able to produce creative and original artwork that does not violate any copyrights/trademarks laws. Your ability to meet deadlines is extremely important.
