One part of our site is the advertising of vehicles using a linkssql mysql database. We currently have a problem in that the application is now not functioning properly as it has been changed from static to partially dynamic to accomodate ftp upload from one specific client. The script that has been designed to run concluding the clients ftp upload is not effetcive and take about 5 hours to run. This script can and should be better than it is. We are seeking someone with experience in mysql, perl/cgi, build processes and javascript/xml as we have the latter 2 incorporated into the section. A previous programmer has left this in a mess as it was once operating satisfactory and as such the right person with the right skills would quickly identify the problem and correct the mistakes made as well as enhance the section to ensure better functioning. It is vital therefore that the person must be able to work in our timeframe and communicate through Yahoo Messenger where full support, guideance will be given.
