I will provide 2 URL. both should be get & parsed using perl only. the script will be hosted on a linux server & will run as cron job. the server is installed will LWP but not having HTML::Parse module on it. The URL change it's html coding rapidly. Two files named [login to view URL] & [login to view URL] are attached as sample html data get by the perl script. The programmer should combine both of the parsed data in ms access data base format with following fields on the same server.
Commodity Symbol, Contract/Expiry Month, Unit, Open, High, Low, LTP, PCP, Vol, OI, Best Buy Price, Best Sell Price, Change
After complition of this project the data retrival CGI script will also be needed.
I can write a Perl script to fetch the page from the web, parse the data and store it using one of the following options: 1) MySQL database on the same or external server; 2) CSV file on the same or external server; 3) Microsoft SQL Server on external Windows computer.
As I have noted in Project Clarification Board there's no way to form MS Access file on Linux, but there are some other solutions, (I've forgotten to mention that you can import a CSV file into MS Access).
