I need help to automate my workflow. I run a media monitoring company and at the moment we manually read newspapers for mentions of our clients. I want to be able to scan the papers, run an OCR program to make the stories searchable, and run a classification program to pick out keywords (such as client names). Ideally, the classification software would also assign the relevant stories to sub folders, so they are grouped together and ready to send, but I understand that it could be difficult, as some stories will go to more than one client. Money is a factor, so I'm looking for an off-the-shelf budget solution. I think I will use FineReader to OCR the stories, and I have seen some options that might work for picking out keywords, but I don't understand if they will do what I want. Can you help me fine appropriate software and advise me on setting up the workflow?
