.NET developer based in Mexico to create web application for buying/selling used cars

ClearMechanic consists of mobile and web applications which build trust between consumers and automotive workshops. Our most popular feature enables workshops to share real-time photos, videos and status updates during the vehicle repair process and then approve workshop recommendations online. ClearMechanic is the leading solution for automotive workshops in Latin America due to our partnerships with Chrysler, Volkswagen, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and Kia in Latin America. The ClearMechanic product started as a project at Harvard Business School in 2009. The company (ClearCheck) is backed by venture capital investors in the United States and Europe. We grew revenue 300% annually in 2014 and 2015. The company currently has 70 team members and has offices in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Our primary office is in Puerto Vallarta, MX, where the CEO and President are based. This position would be in Puerto Vallarta, MX. ABOUT THIS NEW PROJECT ClearCheck is looking for a lead developer in Mexico to develop its 2nd product, which will build on our success with ClearMechanic to create a marketplace for buying and selling used cars. Specifically, we are looking for an experienced .NET developer to create a web application for buying and selling used cars. The web application will enable used car sellers to share key information about their cars (photos, videos, inspection results, legal documentation) and automatically post such information to third-party used car marketplaces (eBay, MercadoLibre, etc.) In addition, the web application will facilitate scheduling of test drives from used car buyers, transfer of ownership and payment. What will differentiate this used car marketplace from other offerings is the inspection process. The biggest fear of a used car buyer is that the seller is hiding the true condition of the car. Using our existing ClearMechanic product, we will perform a 200-point impartial inspection, including 2nd and 3rd opinions, on all used cars prior to listing them in our marketplace. Only cars which pass our impartial inspection process will be sold in our marketplace. Because our 2nd product (the used car marketplace) must interact with our 1st product (ClearMechanic), the 2nd product must have a flexible API and should be developed in the .NET framework. ClearMechanic was developed with the .NET framework and the mobile and web applications were developed with Xamarin. Due to the large size of this project, we will divide development into 5 phases: Phase 1: automate used car listings on third-party used car marketplaces. Phase 2: enable uploading of inspection results (video and checklist from independent mechanic) into the used car listing, to demonstrate the real condition of the car being sold. Phase 3: enable test drives by buyers. Phase 4: enable legal transfer of ownership from seller to buyer. Phase 5: enable payment from buyer to seller. As mentioned previously, we already have 70 team members, including UX (3 team members), QA (2 team members) and Business Analysts (2 team members). We also have 9 developers in Russia who built the existing ClearMechanic product and will continue working on the existing ClearMechanic product. For our 2nd product, the used car marketplace, we want our lead developer based in Mexico to be closer to our users. The lead developer for this 2nd product would work closely with our UX, QA and BA teams, and also with our existing Russian development team. But, the lead developer would still be the lead developer for this 2nd product. This may sound complicated, but it is because we have already built a successful business and therefore must be careful about the introduction of our 2nd product.
