in the attachments you can see part 1&2 which I have done..

Now I only need someone to make Part 3&4

PART#3

1. Start implementing your database by performing the following steps:

a. Generate the relational database schema of your chosen database. Make sure it is correct, if it needs any modifications, do them at this stage.

b. Use MySQL and DDL to define your schema to MySQL’s RDBMS.

c. Use MySQL and DML to populate your database with sample data.

d. Make a list of all your system’s business rules that could not be expressed as integrity rules in the relational schema. These rules are to be programmed in your implementation.

2. Design the user interface for input forms, output and report request screens for your database.

a. Screens must be designed to be useful, clear and easy to use. A single screen may show data from many tables or may look like a parent record with many child (dependent) records … etc.

b. Screens may be used to enter new data, retrieve data for display, edit existing data, and/or request queries and reports. They must be designed consistently.

c. Reports of your system must include at least one of each of the following kinds of reports:

i. Reports that print evidence of some transaction, like an invoice, receipt, ticket….

ii. Reports that print data for some entity along with its dependencies, like a certain customer along with all his purchases … etc.

iii. Reports of list nature, like the list of available rooms in a hotel, and the like.

iv. Reports that give summaries from the database, like sums, averages and the like.

PART #4

1. Implement your database design by performing the following steps:

a. Write SQL/PHP program modules to implement all the business rules that could not be expressed as integrity rules in the relational schema. Each module shall be called upon for execution when the situation requires checking for a particular business rule. You may write these modules in JavaScript if you like.

b. Implement the user interface screens and reports you designed in part3 of the project as a set of Web-based PHP programs.

i. Try to use modular functions as much as possible, to avoid clumsy, cluttered and un-readable programs.

ii. Make a clear separation between sections of code that are HTML, PHP and SQL.

2. Test your system of PHP programs and modules, one-by-one making sure they work as required, with no conflicts, and that all rules are enforced. Screens and reports must be consistent with database and your earlier designs.
