Resize pictures to fit mobile and tablets on CMSMS running simplex theme

I have a CMS Made Simple website running a default responsive theme called simplex. What i need is the images i post onto the website as content in pages to fit on mobile devies and tablets when viewed from either. As of now the theme is responsive but the images keep the original format on mobile and tablets and hence breaks the design.
