iOS app - changes and improvements to an existing application

We have an application which has already been developed but requires extra changes, functionality and improvements. This application communicates with our web server via REST web services. The application gets JSON data from our website and then builds an interface based on this data, such as: page with a list of categories, list of objects, page per object. JSON data return can contain: HTML code, URLs for video files, PDF, Powerpoint files iframe codes. All of these types need to be supported and displayed in the right place within the user interface. Below is a scope of work required: 1. Implement the ability to have in-app purchase and subscription with Apple Store. When a new user is created then can choose to buy a subscription. Once subscription is successful with Apple Store, then app will communicate to our web server via API and record the successful subscription. 2. Make sure that the UI supports different kinds of content that can be returned via the API. Currently the app displays HTML, loads PDF/PPT/PPTX files from URL, loads a video from Cincopa service. It needs to be able to display an IFRAME in a separate view. It also needs to display IFRAME containing Vimeo video in a separate view. 3. Tidy up the existing code, follow the coding standards, add proper comments and rename objects and files to reflect what they do represent. 4. Implement a new UI layouts, new front page views, additional animation. Display badges which are returned from the API. In order to have it live on the App Store this application needs to have the in-app subscriptions functionality. This will be the first milestone and we will provide you with website API documentation with instructions on how to create a new user. We have the same application live on the Android store where you will be able to see an example of the features and how it works live. You will also need to work closely with one of our Android developers to make sure that new features and UI improvements are consistent and can be replicated on Android. Our communication will happen through project chat and Skype. We will provide you with the complete current XCODE project for you to build upon. This is a quick project and should not take more than 5 days. If you are successful in this project then we would like to have a long-term development partnership and continue working on adding more features and improving the UX.
