App that scans sound waves and plays them back

So i'm working on a startup that works with sound waves, and i'm hoping to talk to you about some questions i have about an app we're possibly needing for this startup.
The general idea is that we sell posters with custom soundwaves, such as songs for example, with the lyrics at the top of the poster of course. But we're also thinking of other possibilities of custom sounds people would want to use, such as a baby's heartbeat.
Now the main problem is, i've never seen anything of the sorts. So the idea is, the customer would choose a poster on our website, in the right size, and upload the sound they want to use, which we then convert into a soundwave and use on the poster we send to them. However, we need a sort of system/app that can be able to scan these soundwaves and play back that sound to the customer. So with the little knowledge i have, i imagine these sounds would need to be in some sort of database when uploaded to the website, which will be accessible by the app.
