I am looking to create an application which highlights the coding that is used in the Motorola Spotlight application, specifically when the application is opened. The purpose of this application would be to create a downloadable widget/app that when opened a "pet" would come onto the screen that can be played with. This is pet would be able to run on top of other applications such as shown below (where the bug is running on top of the home screen and the user is able to interact with the bug). I am interested in seeing what people have to say about the application possibility since I am not sure the length of coding required to create this app.
