The Word submission will have the following sections: A title page. The title page will list: • The case study client company name and contact name(s) • The due date • The group name (if used) • The group member names in alphabetical order by last name. • The professor’s name Checklist sections: • Completed Checklist page (think about it as a Table of Contents) • Updated Project Charter (based on Professor’s feedback and any further improvements you deem appropriate) • Updated Scope Statement (based on Professor’s feedback and any further improvements you deem appropriate) • Introduction • SMART Report • Milestone Report • Updated WBS (based on Professor’s feedback and any further improvements you deem appropriate) • Gantt chart • Project Cost estimate Introduction: Describe what your team has attempted and what it has completed with respect to the case study. How did you manage to keep the scope/time/cost constraints as per the case study? Or maybe you didn’t and if so, why did you not keep to the constraints? What happened that you could not maintain the triple constraint? Comment on any successes, problems, etc. that you experienced. What have you learned from this exercise? How will that help you in future with other projects? Project Charter Include an updated Project Charter from the Preliminary Report. SMART Report + Milestone Report Identify a minimum of 6 milestones from the case study and describe them using SMART criteria (see Schwalbe for examples). Each milestone needs to be analyzed using SMART criteria. Include a Milestone Report as per Table 3-12 of Schwalbe. Project Cost Estimate Prepare a Cost Estimate for the project as per the format in Figure 7-2 of Schwalbe. Use the WBS tasks and the material and labour estimates from the case study (make assumptions). State the materials by # of units and unit cost, and labour costs as hours worked and cost per person.
